Jordan Hospital: Journal 4

December 27, 2008
After the holidays I was expecting the hospital to be very busy, but today I didn't have many errands to run. Total, there was two discharges, which means that two people got to go home. The rest of the time I brought specimens to the lab from 2 East A (the first part of the second floor) and the infusion room (there were a few other places but these places was where the most calls came from.) Going into the infusion room makes me a little sad because this is where all of the people that have cancer need to go and get things like blood transfusion, chemo, etc. It makes me feel really good to know that volunteering helps, even if its not life saving, I'm still contributing to these people.
