On Saturday I went to volunteering and the hospital was very quiet when I first walked in. I knew that it was going to be a pretty slow morning, which it was. Alex, Mike, and Marie were all there and I found it ironic because we didn't need that many people on a day like this. Usually when I go in Alex cannot make it and if I cannot make it in she is there; so it works out either way. All together I brought a specimen from the Bailey Lab to the main lab and I also discharged one patient. Usually I would have over 10 errands to run but Saturday there weren't many calls down to the volunteer desk. There also were very few visitors coming in an out of the hospital. Every where seemed to be very quiet and empty.
